How we met:   

We met each other at the Mechanics Institute Sports and Social Club in Lurgan on the 23rd September 2001.  We were introduced by a friend called Amanda Thompson who called John telling him there was a girl he should meet and to hit the pub straight away.

His First Impressions:   

I thought she was very nice, if not a little strange all dressed up like something of a Jerry Springer Show!  She was wearing a very short denim mini skirt along with bright red cowboy boots and a slinky white top that tied up at the front.

Her First Impressions:  

I was quite taken with him and felt very easy in his company.  He looked very sexy in his Blue Jeans and Pink T-Shirt which he still says is was red (washed too many times!!)

First Date:   

Sunday the 7th October 2001 - We went for a drink in 'The Carnegie Inn' (otherwise known as Father Joes) John was wearing some very loose trousers which didn't leave anything to the imagination!!

First Kiss:   

This was very long and passionate - it will never be forgotten!!

The Proposal:   

We went to 'The Halfway House' for a meal on 6th December 2002 for Johns Birthday.  When I came back from the ladies there was a bottle of champagne sitting on our table.  The next thing I knew John asked me if I would Marry Him and I said yes straight away after making him get on his knees first...

The Engagement Ring:   

We chose the ring together.  It was a 3 stone cluster in a twist with 10 small stones arranged either side.
